SCULPTURAL ART-TO-WEAR Sculptor, Dimitris Roussetos is set to debut his exclusive "Art to Wear” sculptural jewelry designs inspired by the upcoming Living Art Experience will make its debut at the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center with three presentations on April 7-8, 2023.
35 successful years of presenting living art to over 350,000 people continues with twelve breathtaking re-creations of art masterpieces using live models will be presented including iconic works such as Leonardo DaVinci’s Last Supper and Michelangelo’s Pietà. The program will be narrated with an original script and presented with an inspirational musical score performed by an orchestra and vocal ensemble.
Roussetos, based in Athens, Greece, originated from Andros island, Cyclades, where he opened his art gallery, Kohyli in 2022. He is known for his sculptural creations inspired by nature, made using ethically sourced precious gems, wood and materials from the earth. Roussetos’ pieces are known for their timeless expression. Those who attend this Living Art Experience will have the opportunity to meet him, see his creations and learn more about his inspiration and process.
Hear what the Greeks are doing in the South Bay. This unique event, Living Art Experience is co-produced and directed by Jeannie Halverson, whose origins are from Peloponnesus. Thespina Patronas, originally from Santorini, is involved in script adaptation, PR management, and the production of Greek sculptor Dimitris Roussetos’s debut in California and Living Art Experience with his “art to wear” sculptural jewelry designs. The popular PETROS restaurant will offer beverages, traditional Greek pastries and food in the lobby. Manos PR is assisting with outreach. Brad Hicks, art director, along and many others on the creative team have made this event come alive.
The world-famous Pageant of the Masters in Laguna Beach, California, which uses live models in famous paintings and sculptures, collaborated and provided training and art techniques to Living Art Experience formally known as Pageant of Our Lord.
